The speaker

An athlete’s discipline. A pilgrim’s humility.

Born in Los Angeles, Husain played safety for the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs, and his story has been featured by NFL Films, ESPN and Sports Illustrated. In 2014 his sajdah in the end zone after a touchdown on Monday Night Football sparked conversations around the world about athletes and worship.

A Washington State University and Southern Methodist University alumnus, he is a keynote speaker, executive coach and mentor, and the author of Mecca to Medina. In his words, he aims to worship the Creator by serving His creation.
